Dear Friends,
Thank you for your commitment to what was a very worthy cause. We can take pride in the fact that we stood for the values that have made America great. We were endorsed by 28 of the 29 newspapers and every indication is that we were well positioned to win the general election in November.
For a number of reasons, the Republican primary proved to be an
insurmountable challenge. We have no regrets for having made the run. As I said in my speech on election night, “something good comes out of every situation” and much good will come from this campaign. We can hold our heads high because honesty, integrity, character and conservative principles were the hallmark of our candidacy.
Throughout the district and beyond, Linda and I met amazing people who provided incredible inspiration. We will always hold dear the friendships and the memories of a very special and positive six months of campaigning. Our sincere gratitude goes out to all.
